Media Bias Essay Topics

Media Bias Essay TopicsMedia bias essay topics are often controversial. For example, President Bill Clinton's public rape of Monica Lewinsky as an integral part of his impeachment is still the most talked about event in American history. How would you handle such a sensitive subject?Obviously it's not something you can discuss in school, and even at work, unless you have one of the many handbooks and study guides that deal with this topic, which, unfortunately, few people have. In writing this essay, if you want to do so with sensitivity, you'll need to rely on sources that discuss the issues surrounding public rape. One of the best resources I've found for this is the book 'Mean Girls' by the author Nicholas Sparks. While on the subject of contemporary pop culture (more specifically its misogyny), another very good book on this topic is 'Contagious' by Christina Hoff Sommers. This book discusses how female power has been erased by media bias and thus has become another object of ridi cule.Essays of this nature do require some research. Therefore, keep in mind the author's advice in reading up on this topic and being open-minded when reading about it. Another good idea is to ask around on the Internet if your own opinion is not the opinion of the majority. There are too many opinions to be ignored!Essays are like small vignettes in which you document your points of view. You want to also include anecdotes to illustrate how a story would happen or how the events have affected you personally. Always remember to write concisely and avoid cliche, generalizations, and stereotypes. By keeping these three things in mind, you will find that your essay will flow well and not be dictated by your opinion. You can get scholarships for this essay, but these essays should be taken with caution, as they are not supposed to be the basis for your grades for college level courses. Thus, if you are taking classes towards a degree program, then keep in mind that your grade will suffe r for plagiarism and thus the essay should be critically reviewed before it gets a grade.Media bias essay topics are controversial, but that shouldn't deter you from submitting your essay. That being said, take a breath and just be honest, and don't try to rewrite the same story over.Keep in mind that essays for your media bias essay topics are evaluated based on the facts presented, not opinions. Thus, be as accurate as possible and let the facts speak for themselves. The more accurate the facts, the better your grade will be.
